Practice Area Overview. Matthew Forbes concentrates his practice in real estate and mortgage law. Mr. Forbes has handled over 3,000 closings throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Connecticut. Mr. Forbes represents individual buyers and sellers, as well as institutional lenders. Most recently, Mr. Forbes has added a specialized service for those Borrowers currently in the process of refinancing, who would like assistance prior to closing. Legal Experience. Prior to joining Gallagher & Associates, Mr. Forbes practiced at the Texas law firm of Hinkle, Cox, Eaton, Coffield & Hensley. . Mr. Forbes is licensed to practice law in the states of Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Background. Mr. Forbes graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in English, and received his juris doctorate from the University of Oklahoma School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Forbes also studied at Oxford University, and was a member and Note Editor of the Oklahoma Law Review.
